Docusy 5.1: Word and Excel export, document protection, and translation in every language

A scan in Docusy was already real, editable text — now it can leave as a real document. On iOS 26, export the data Docusy detects to Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx), where detected tables become genuine spreadsheet rows rather than a flat picture. You can also print straight from the export sheet, and smarter data export means detected tables and lists are written once, cleanly, with no duplicated text.

Protect your documents

Some scans are sensitive, so 5.1 adds three ways to keep them yours. Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Export password-protected (encrypted) PDFs — and Docusy now unlocks protected PDFs on import instead of failing silently. And your stored documents are protected at rest on the device.

Translate into any language

On-device translation is no longer limited to a fixed list. Translate recognised text into any language your device supports, with the original layout kept intact — and nothing ever leaves your phone. (Requires iOS 18.)

Better on iPad & Mac

A new sidebar layout and a redesigned PDF editing toolbar make Docusy feel at home on bigger screens, while the iPhone layout stays exactly as it was.

Pricing & availability

Docusy 5.1 is available on the App Store from 22 June 2026 for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Docusy is free to download; some advanced features are part of an optional premium subscription, with a one-time All Access purchase. Word and Excel export require iOS 26; translation requires iOS 18 or later.
